papaya侧重指树，pawpaw侧重指果，感觉着俩词的发音很好玩。

番木瓜其实就是我们吃的水果木瓜，之所以加“番”是为了区别我国土产的蔷薇科木瓜Chinese flowering quince，而该木瓜就是《诗经》中赫赫有名的“投我以木瓜，报之以琼琚”的木瓜。

那么柳下翚应该是：Pheasant under the willow

這個有出處嗎？為什麼啊？

陳英雄的電影《青木瓜之味》就叫"The Scent of Green Papaya"，是指果實。

吆兮，原来是芭拉啊，貌似还没吃过，去年也是第一次吃到莲雾wax apple，感觉南方水果真是奇妙。

就是查了几个不同的词典，包括菜单翻译的时候，貌似指果实的时候多用pawpaw，指树的时候多用papaya，但实际上两个词两个意思都有，大约没什么区别吧。我写的可能有误导了，谢谢指明。

话说我大约一共看过两部越南电影，一部是这个，另一部是《恋恋三季》（Three Seasons），前一部给我的感觉是青色，后一部给我的印象是红色，两部电影都注重镜头语言和画面，简单的对白掩盖不住充沛复杂的情绪的涌动，非常到位地勾勒出身处不同阶层的人们在时代变迁面前，小心翼翼却也大胆热烈地谋求生活并追求爱情。总之，好多年过去了，细节已记不大清，只记得静静的唯美和淡淡的感动。
